What is SlideShifter ?
SlideShifter displays a random slide show of images with background
music and a sequence of videos (i.e. movie trailers) prior to the movie you are
about to show to your audience, giving them a real theater experience.
How does it work ?
SlideShifter runs on your Media Center PC or Home Theater
PC (HTPC) and can be started in the following ways:
- By default SlideShifter integrates in Windows Explorer. By right-clicking the folder
that contains your movie and select 'Play with SlideShifter' you start the slide and trailers show followed by your selected movie.
- SlideShifter integrates in Windows Media Center Edition (MCE) and Vista Media Center
(VMC) SlideShifter through a Media Center add-on called
MyMovies (www.mymovies.dk). Select your movie from MyMovies and it will start the slide and trailer show followed by your selected movie.
- SlideShifter integrates in MediaPortal (www.team-mediaportal.com)
by configuring it as external player. Select your movie from MediaPortal and it will start the slide and trailer show followed by your selected movie.
- If you use another front-end for playing your movies and it supports external movie
players then most likely it will support the use of SlideShifter as well.
